Understanding Media

In 2023 I attended an intensive 13 week course on Marshall McLuhan’s Understanding Media. Each week we are given assignments, which attendees could use any media to repsond to. I used Midjourney to accompany my various videos and essays. The black and white aesthetic was a homage to the graphic designer Quentin Fiore, who often collaborated with McLuhan, although his name was never used in the prompts.
