Hunger
Hunger is a multidisciplinary politicised exhibition by The Tunnel. Each exhibition uses a piece of text or film as a base to build a structure of ideas. The title of the exhibition is derived from Knut Hamsun's 1890 novel of the same name. The work in the exhibition orbits around the text and does not necessarily relate directly to the book.
In essence the show is about a single word; Hunger. Some of the artists in the show have interpreted the word in a political way to reflect the current economic and cultural crisis in England since the 23rd of June 2016. Other artists have taken a more psychological approach.
